Build the user-facing layer of a clinical decision-support application. The frontend is embedded inside a hospital EHR platform and displays patient status, clinical alerts and analytics — a real product with real users in a regulated healthcare domain, where quality and attention to detail matter.
What you'll do
- Build and own React frontend features end-to-end — implementation, testing and production issue resolution
- Work in TypeScript within a production healthcare application
- Integrate a frontend application within a third-party enterprise (EHR) platform
- Consume and integrate with backend microservices and APIs (Python / FastAPI backend)
- Collaborate closely with backend, product and design in an agile, cross-functional team
- Contribute to frontend performance, maintainability and code quality
Must have
- Strong production React and TypeScript experience
- Solid grasp of modern frontend architecture, state management and performance optimisation
- Comfort integrating with REST APIs and backend services
- Experience owning features across the full lifecycle in an agile team
- Professional English, verbal and written
Nice to have
- Experience embedding apps within third-party platforms or iframes (e.g. SMART on FHIR / EHR contexts)
- Healthcare, clinical or other regulated-domain UI experience
- Awareness of accessibility and data-sensitivity in clinical UIs
- Exposure to AWS-hosted application environments
The core requirement is React (not Vue or Angular); strong TypeScript fundamentals are essential.
